Executive Business Coaching
If you're new to coaching , or slightly sceptical, remind yourself that professional sportspeople have a coach to keep them at the peak of their performance and shift them to the next level. Business coaching, whilst not being directive, does the same for professionals at all levels and experiences, offering:
- An opportunity to bring clarity to issues you may not otherwise have the time or inclination to address
- An opportunity to analyse, reflect upon and take action that will enable you to achieve success in one or more areas of your working and home life
- Strict confidentiality that adheres to the International Coaching Federation ethical guidelines. Generally speaking coaching will be on the telephone, following an introductory face-to-face session.
Having your own individual or team Business Coach will benefit you in the following areas:
- Achieving your full potential in your business and personal life
- Improving the contribution you make to the organisation employing you
Coaching isn't mentoring!
A coach will not necessarily work in the same field of business as you. A good coach will focus on setting and achieving goals within specific time-scales, as well as stretching you to reach out of your comfort zone.
I don't need a counsellor!
Coaching does not seek to resolve underlying issues such as poor motivation, low self-esteem and poor job performance. A good coach will spot any such areas that may need attention and refer a Client to the appropriate counsellor. Coaching is most definitely not counselling!
